Product information

Stunning Contrast from Production to Post
The ProArt Display OLED PA27USD is a professional monitor that features a state-of-the-art 26.5-inch 4K HDR QD-OLED panel with 1000 nits peak brightness and 99% DCI-P3 coverage that ensures highly accurate colors and exceptional visual details. A built-in motorized flip colorimeter enables auto- and self-calibration for consistent, professional color accuracy, and a 240 Hz refresh rate allows for working on color-critical graphics as well as performance-oriented game development—all on one monitor. In addition to standard I/O interfaces, the PA27USD supports 12G-SDI connectivity for receiving uncompressed video signals up to 4K@60Hz.

Ideal for Game Dev and Video Editing
With a 240 Hz refresh rate and variable-refresh-rate (VRR) technology, the PA27USD allows you to edit and perform quality checks on fast-moving visuals. HDMI® 2.1, DisplayPort™ 2.1, and Thunderbolt™ 4 connectivity with 4K@240Hz support ensures super-smooth visuals with exceptional detail.

Intuitive and Intelligent Calibration

Self Calibration
ProArt displays feature a built-in colorimeter with an innovative self-calibration function. This standalone solution is compatible with any operating system and does not require additional calibration software. You can run the calibration process at any time or schedule it through the OSD menu for downtime.

ProArt Hardware Calibration
ASUS ProArt Hardware Calibration software* works in both SDR and HDR modes. It stores all color parameter profiles directly on the ProArt monitor’s internal scaler IC chip rather than on the PC. With ProArt Calibration, you can also schedule regular calibration intervals.

ProArt Color Center
ProArt Color Center is an online tool that helps administrators manage color accuracy across multiple ProArt displays with hardware calibration support. Users can verify when monitors were last calibrated, set the next recommended calibration date, and schedule calibration times for multiple monitors—even if they use different color parameters and/or are in different locations.

Seamless Calibration
ProArt displays work seamlessly with professional third-party hardware calibration software like Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS. It can also write color parameters back into our ProArt displays, making calibration quicker and easier.

ASUS OLED Care
ProArt Display OLED series monitors feature ASUS OLED Care features designed to protect the display by minimizing the likelihood of image burn-in.

Panel Protect
Provides Sensing Protection, Pixel Shift, Screen Saver, ISP (Global) and Off Sensing to prevent static images from being displayed continuously on your screen. This feature offers two levels of adjustment to choose from.

Image Protect
Dynamically detects and identifies the taskbar, logos, and video borders, and reduces brightness around them to minimize the risk of burn-in. This feature offers three adjustable levels to choose from.

Proximity Sensor
Automatically reduces brightness gradually when no user is in front of the monitor. Three adjustable detection ranges are available.

Uniform Brightness Setting
OLED displays have an auto brightness limiter (ABL). When displaying a white (or bright) image in a certain window, the display automatically dims the image as the window size increases.

The optional Uniform Brightness feature in the OSD menu is particularly useful when switching between windows with very different contrast levels or changing their size, as it keeps brightness consistent at up to 250 nits, ensuring comfortable viewing and more accurate colors even after hours of use.

Ultra-Vivid HDR

ASUS Smart HDR Technology
ASUS-exclusive Smart HDR technology supports multiple HDR formats, including Dolby Vision®, HLG, and HDR10.

Dolby Vision transforms the viewing experience with unparalleled brightness, contrast, and colors. The ProArt Display is the world’s first computer monitor with Dolby Vision support, making it ideal for professional image production, color grading, and mastering.

HLG allows users to view and create material for broadcast and satellite TV platforms, such as BBC iPlayer, Japan NHK TV, and DirecTV.

HDR10 support ensures compatibility with existing video streaming services and a growing list of HDR-enabled games.

Multiple PQ Curves
ASUS ProArt displays support multiple HDR10 curves, including PQ Hard Clip, PQ Optimized, and PQ Basic, to cover all content-creation needs.

PQ Hard Clip
In this setting, the PQ curve is preserved until it shows the maximum luminance. Anything brighter is mapped to the display's peak luminance.

HDR Preview
HDR Preview enables direct connection from the camera to the monitor to view captured HDR content with its full tonal range. It also works with most video-editing software platforms, providing accurate simulations of the final output for easier and more efficient editing.
*Raw/camera images must support HDR mode and PQ curve.

12G-SDI Connectivity
SDI (Serial Digital Interface) is a professional video signal standard widely used in production. It supports the transmission of uncompressed video over long distances with high reliability. SDI uses BNC cables with locking connectors at both ends to ensure a secure connection that cannot be easily disconnected.

Compared to standard 3G-SDI, 12G-SDI offers up to four times the bandwidth, allowing for the transmission and reception of uncompressed video at resolutions of up to 4K@60Hz directly from camera devices with extremely low latency.

Flexible Connections
Dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1, and DisplayPort 2.1 ensure compatibility with current and future displays and peripherals. One of the Thunderbolt 4 ports provides up to 96W of power delivery via a single cable to charge laptops, while the other supports daisy-chaining multiple displays for extended setups. The built-in USB 3.2 hub features two USB Type-A and one USB Type-C® port, supporting a wide range of devices and peripherals.

Diverse Viewing Options
Picture-by-Picture (PbP)
View content from up to four input sources simultaneously. In addition, you can choose up to 2 color engines to examine different color modes, including sRGB, Adobe RGB, P3, BT.2020, CAL1~3.

Picture-in-Picture (PiP)
In this mode, content from a second input source is displayed in a smaller window, placeable at any corner of the screen.

Accurate On-Set Real-Time Preview
QuickFit Plus overlays a grid on the screen to aid alignment and on-set preview, ensuring video content stays correctly framed and doesn't spill over the visible screen area.

Exquisite Design
Versatile Stand
With its two versatile stand options, the PA27USD effortlessly adapts to any setup, providing an optimal working or viewing position, whether on-location or in the studio.

Cable Management
Bundled clips aid in cable management for a tidy workspace, while the sturdy, elegant metal handle ensures you can easily carry the monitor wherever it's needed.

Detachable Monitor Hood
An all-around hood minimizes reflections from surrounding light sources, ensuring confident color-critical work in the studio or on location. An opening on the top of the hood allows for convenient use of third-party colorimeters for accurate calibration without the need to remove the monitor hood.

Ergonomic Design
Every ProArt Display features an ergonomic stand with tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustments for comfortable viewing. The ability to pivot the screen 90° clockwise or counter-clockwise for use in portrait mode is handy when working with long documents, coding, or browsing the web. The VESA wall mount provides additional flexibility, offering users convenient mounting options.

The Perfect Monitor for Your Mac
ProArt Display combines professional performance with Mac-tested compatibility. With vibrant colors and versatile connectivity, the ProArt Display is ideal for Mac users seeking exceptional color accuracy and unparalleled productivity.

Seamless Monitor Management
ASUS DisplayWidget Center is software that provides an intuitive interface for adjusting monitor settings, including brightness, contrast, and color temperature. Whether a monitor is for everyday viewing or professional creative work, users can effortlessly find the optimal screen settings for an enhanced viewing experience.

Effortless Multi-Display Consistency
ColorSync allows you to synchronize the display settings of monitors of the same model via the ASUS DisplayWidget Center software. This feature makes it easy to apply consistent settings - such as color mode and brightness - to multiple screens without requiring manual adjustments on each device.
