The ROG Crosshair VIII series announces the arrival of the Impact, a compact motherboard with colossal potential. The Crosshair VIII Impact in Mini-DTX format is designed for the latest third-generation AMD Ryzen CPUs and offers a variety of features otherwise found on ATX motherboards, including more powerful power delivery and cooling, dual M.2, next-gen Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), and integrated SupremeFX audio. It's the perfect choice for a compact gaming system that doesn't have to hide its performance from large gaming PCs.

COMPACT DESIGN
The unusual Mini-DTX form factor of the Impact was a conscious choice. Many Mini-ITX cases offer enough space for a dual-slot graphics card. This means that there is usually unused space below the lower PCIe® slot – space that can be used to install additional components or integrate additional features. The Impact is slightly larger than a Mini-ITX motherboard but still fits into the majority of Mini-ITX cases. ROG engineers use the additional space on the board to incorporate more features.
