Multiple Highly Efficient Coolers
Designed for powerful, scalable Intel® Xeon™ processors with up to 28 cores, the WS C422 Sage/10G features a powerful cooling design that ensures maximum performance without CPU throttling.

A highly efficient VRM heatsink with a matrix of specially arranged metal fins maximizes the surface area for optimal heat dissipation. To further enhance cooling performance, two additional heatsinks with a connecting pipe are present. This innovative combination guarantees that the WS C422 Sage/10G can handle even the most demanding tasks at all times.

Two PLX chips on the WS C422 Sage/10G increase the number of available PCIe lanes, enabling GPU configurations with four graphics cards. Additionally, a powerful cooling concept is in place to dissipate the heat generated by high-speed data traffic. The PLX chips are equipped with an additional heatsink array and a heat pipe positioned within the chassis in the area of maximum airflow. This way, PLX temperatures can be reduced by up to 20°C, ensuring optimal cooling and system stability.

SafeSlot
SafeSlot is the new, ASUS-revolutionized PCIe slot designed to provide superior retention and shear resistance. Manufactured in a single step, the slot is reinforced with metal using a new insert-molding process, making it significantly more robust. The slot is then firmly anchored to the PCB with additional solder points.
