AXAGON CLR-M2XT ALU is a passive aluminum cooler designed for intensive cooling of high-performance NVMe M.2 SSD drives. The universal heatsink can be used on M.2 cards with dimensions of 22 x 80 mm. The included thermal pads allow the cooler to be installed for all single-sided and double-sided M.2 SSDs.

Thanks to its total height of 24 mm and a passive height of 20 mm, the cooler can also be used in slots where the graphics card protrudes. Cross-ribbing of the aluminum passive and the metal frame optimize the heat dissipation of the M.2 SSD drive, which can reduce the drive temperature by up to 30 °C. This extends the lifespan of the SSD and prevents a slowdown in drive speed, known as “Thermal Throttling”.

The cooler can be used not only with M.2 AXAGON adapters but also with M.2 (NGFF) slots on motherboards, etc. Thanks to its large cooling surface and metal frame, it effectively dissipates heat from both sides of the M.2 drive, achieving maximum cooling efficiency. Due to its high cooling efficiency, this cooler is one of the most powerful cooler models of the AXAGON brand.
