The AXAGON HMC-8HLSA Multiport USB-C 5Gbps Hub expands your laptop, computer, or phone with nine ports. The double-sided USB-C connector allows you to quickly and easily connect a monitor, three USB devices, a Gigabit Ethernet network, headphones with a microphone, and an SD card reader to your computer simultaneously. You also get the option to power your laptop simultaneously with Power Delivery technology. The port replicator thus provides you with a simple and compact 9-in-1 docking station not only for Windows laptops but also for Apple laptops such as the MacBook Air or MacBook Pro.

The USB hub offers three USB outputs with standard USB-A connectors. Two of them with a speed of 5 Gbps and one with a speed of 480 Mbps for connecting a mouse or keyboard. The hub can also handle the permanent connection of multiple external drives simultaneously. Thanks to the fast USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, the transfer speed is up to 5Gb/s.

The USB-C port is exclusively reserved for charging phones or laptops with Power Delivery 3.0 technology with a power output of up to 100W. Connect a suitable USB-C Power Delivery charger to the hub and connect the hub to a laptop that supports Power Delivery. This will also free up a USB-C port on your laptop.

The HDMI output delivers high image quality with an Ultra HD resolution of up to 4K/60Hz and supports multi-channel audio transmission. High frequencies are also supported for popular gaming resolutions of 2K/144Hz or FullHD/240Hz.

Thanks to HDR (High Dynamic Range) support, you can enjoy a significantly extended range of colors and contrasts without limitations. For the video outputs to function correctly, the laptop must have a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) support or a Thunderbolt 3, 4 port and higher.

The Gigabit network card expands the computer with a fast and stable network connection, supplements the missing RJ-45 network port, or adds another network card. The card reader supports all versions of SD and microSD cards, including SDXC and microSDXC, with a capacity of up to 2TB. The card reader allows simultaneous handling of cards in both slots and direct copying between them. The audio output is connected to a 3.5 mm jack and allows the connection of stereo headphones with a microphone.

The elegant aluminum casing ensures not only mechanical durability but also passive cooling. Thanks to the Plug-and-Play and Hot-Plug functions, connecting the hub is very easy, even without complicated installation. It is also possible to easily connect and disconnect peripherals while the computer is running. The hub is not afraid of connecting to phones with a USB-C port. For example, you can connect a flash drive, keyboard, mouse, screen, TV, or projector to the phone.

A suitable operating system is also required. Without these prerequisites, the video output function is not available.
