The AXAGON HMC-U4 DUAL 4K DISPLAY docking station transforms your laptop, tablet, or phone into a multimedia center. Thanks to next-generation USB4 technology, this docking station provides a total data throughput of up to 40 Gbps. This allows you to fully utilize even the most demanding computer accessories and enjoy a high-end experience. Whether you're watching 8K videos or working with two 4K monitors simultaneously, this technology delivers the performance you need. USB4 offers the advantage of Thunderbolt compatibility while also supporting backward compatibility with previous USB generations.

You connect your laptop to the 12-in-1 docking station via the included 80 cm cable. In no time, you'll have a fast SD (UHS-II) and microSD card reader, as well as ports for two external monitors, five USB devices, headphones or a headset, and Power Delivery power. However, it is required that your device's USB-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode) and Power Delivery.

Via the HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, you can connect an external monitor, TV, or projector with a resolution of up to 8K/30Hz Ultra HD, 4K/144Hz Ultra HD, or 2K/240Hz Quad HD, with support for multi-channel audio streaming. Thanks to HDR support, you can enjoy a richer color spectrum and sharper contrasts for an even better visual experience. If you connect two monitors simultaneously, you will get resolutions of up to 4K/144Hz on the DP port output and 4K/60Hz on the HDMI output. All supported resolutions and functions are directly dependent on the support of the connected monitor and laptop.

Overall, the docking station has three 10Gbps USB-C (2x) and USB-A (1x) outputs, as well as two 5Gbps USB-A outputs. You can connect external drives, flash drives, mice, printers, and other USB accessories to these five USB ports. The USB ports also charge mobile phones and tablets with a power of up to 7.5W.

The memory card reader supports reading and writing all versions of SD (UHS-II) and microSD (UHS-I) cards with a capacity of up to 2TB. UHS-II cards achieve speeds of up to 156 MB/s (full-duplex) or 312 MB/s (half-duplex), and support for older USH-I cards (max. speed 104 MB/s) is a given. The card reader allows simultaneous handling of cards in both slots and direct copying between them.

You can connect stereo headphones, headsets, or active speakers to the 3.5mm audio output. It is equipped with a high-quality DAC converter that supports sampling rates of up to 384 kHz at 24 bits. You will enjoy excellent sound quality, ideal for lossless formats such as FLAC, WMA, WAV, APE, AAC, and ALAC.

The Gigabit network card extends the computer with a fast and stable network connection, supplements the missing RJ-45 network port, or adds another network card.

The USB-C (PD) input is intended for a suitable Power Delivery charger. This allows both the notebook and the dock to be powered directly via the PD charger with Power Delivery 3.0 technology with up to 100W of power. With the additional power supply via the USB-C input (DC 5V), you can increase the power supply when operating without an attached PD charger and connect devices with higher power consumption, such as multiple external drives, to the multiport hub.

The button on the top of the dock is used to turn the dock on and off. Thanks to the clever design with four rubber feet, the station stays firmly in place. The elegant ribbed surface on the top leaves no fingerprints. Ventilation slots on the bottom ensure sufficient air circulation so that the dock does not overheat even under heavy load.
