CHERRY MX LOW PROFILE 2.0 SWITCHES
The CHERRY KC 500 MX LP is part of the first keyboard series featuring the new CHERRY MX LP 2.0 switches. These are characterized by butter-smooth actuation, absolute switching reliability, and an incredibly long lifespan. With revised haptics and improved sound, this marks the start of a new generation of slim mechanical keyboards.
HIGH-END PBT KEYCAPS
Also brand new are the in-house PBT keycaps, where the symbols are injected directly via plastic molding. The result is absolute abrasion resistance and durability. Furthermore, the material used provides a subtle, muted sound when typing and is pleasantly quiet.
BACKLIGHTING
A discreet white backlight allows you to continue working even in the dark. Lockable status keys like CAPS LOCK, NUM LOCK, WINDOWS, or FN also have integrated red LEDs. This allows you to see at a glance which toggle keys are activated.
TIMELESS DESIGN
The design is timeless and elegant. With its anodized metal plate and other metallic accents in the background, the CHERRY KC 500 MX LP seamlessly blends into modern workspaces. Nevertheless, it is robust enough to also be used in industrial environments. Fold-out feet allow you to adjust the tilt angle to your preferences. The high-quality USB-A to USB-C cable can be detached. With a total height of only 19.1 mm at the front and less than 22 mm at the back, it is one of the slimmest mechanical keyboards.
VERSATILE USE
The CHERRY KC 500 MX LP is an excellent choice for power users, programmers, and heavy typists. Of course, gaming is also easily possible. Despite its high-end features, being a wired keyboard, the CHERRY KC 500 MX LP remains affordable and offers excellent value for money.
