Product information

Discover the endless possibilities of the Keychron Q2 Barebone Knob Version. This high-quality barebone keyboard is designed to create a premium typing experience through extensive personalization. Every element of this keyboard, from the switches and keycaps to the stabilizers, can be individually customized to meet your personal needs and preferences.

The Q2's casing is made from CNC-machined 6063 aluminum and undergoes an intricate manufacturing process comprising 24 steps, including polishing, anodizing, and sandblasting. This precise design not only ensures an appealing aesthetic but also a comfortable and flexible typing feel. The keyboard's maximum flex is an impressive 2.5 mm, further enhancing the typing experience.

The Q2 Barebone keyboard offers full compatibility with both Mac and Windows. Thanks to an operating system toggle switch and an additional set of custom keycaps, switching between operating systems is straightforward and user-friendly.

Another outstanding feature of the Q2 is its comprehensive programmability via QMK and VIA. You can easily program and remap every key, including the knob. The open-source VIA firmware allows you to define key assignments and backlighting, so you can even create your own MACROS for individual key combinations. VIA supports not only macOS but also Windows and Linux, further increasing flexibility.

The Q2's hot-swappable PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical MX switches and is equipped with high-quality screw-in stabilizers that ensure stability and a smooth user experience. The innovative screw design also allows compatibility with a variety of other stabilizers.

The keyboard's south-facing RGB lighting ensures that each key can be individually illuminated. This feature is particularly optimal for translucent PBT keycaps and allows for stunning visual customization of your keyboard.

Please note that the Keychron Q2 CH-layout keycaps and switches are sold separately. Take the next step in your keyboard landscape and experience a tailored typing experience with the Keychron Q2 Barebone Knob Version.
