Product information

a joystick replica set with a dual throttle system and a dual throttle control panel of the U.S. Air Force A-10C attack aircraft.

Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog Joystick
The HOTAS WARTHOG USB joystick with dual throttle is the result of intensive collaboration between Thrustmaster's development teams and members of the simmer community (flight simulation player community). Throughout the entire development phase of the product, studies were conducted and a constant exchange took place between both sides to create a joystick that meets the exact and specific requirements of these experts. The result is the HOTAS WARTHOG: a joystick replica set with a dual throttle system and a dual throttle control panel of the U.S. Air Force A-10C attack aircraft.

Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog Joystick
Weighing over 6.5 kg and using metal for the joystick, the throttle grips, and also for the bases, the HOTAS WARTHOG™ Joystick is physically very imposing. When you also include the 55 fully programmable action buttons and the two four-way hat switches – each with a built-in push button (the world's first joystick with such a feature, by the way) – it becomes clear that the HOTAS WARTHOG is a product of the highest class.

The most precise and feature-packed joystick you can get!
The joystick features 19 action buttons, along with a “Point Of View” hat switch. Thanks to the H.E.A.R.T HallEffect AccuRate Technology™ magnetic sensor system used, it offers extreme precision: 16-bit precision (65536 x 65536 values), without cardan suspension (cardan joint). What's more, the pressure required on the joystick buttons is identical to that required in real aircraft – truly unique in the world of joysticks. Special attention has been paid to the freedom of applicability for "simmers": the joystick grip and its base are detachable (to allow the joystick to be installed in a cockpit).

“Pull & Push” throttle system with disengageable afterburner
The throttle component has also been very carefully designed with a dual throttle system for independent control of two engines: A locking mechanism either couples the two throttles together or allows them to operate independently. The magnetic sensor technology used for the throttles (14-bit resolution with 16384 values per throttle) offers incomparable precision. The switching of idle and afterburner detents is performed via a pull & push system for even greater realism. The afterburner detent is removable, allowing users to perfectly adjust the throttle control depending on the type of aircraft being flown. The throttles have a total of 17 action buttons, a “Point Of View” hat switch, and a “Mouse Hat / Slew Control”.

Control panel with 5 programmable LEDs
The final mechanical component of the product, the control panel, offers an extensive number and variety of controls. These include a friction wheel that allows users to manually adjust the resistance of the throttles to their own taste. The control panel also features functional backlighting, which users will certainly appreciate for night flights. Five programmable LEDs are another plus for use in darkness or low light conditions. The base features a “Trim-Wheel” and 15 action buttons, including numerous push buttons with realistic resistance, matching that found in real aircraft and industrial metal switches (2 or 3 positions).

Thrustmaster's Expert Flight Product Ecosystem
These products are part of a series of flight simulator peripheral devices that can be used together: A complete ecosystem with the Hotas Warthog, the TFRP Rudder Pedals*, and the MFD* (Multi-Functional Display) Cockpit Panels. These elements are also compatible with T.A.R.G.E.T, the advanced programming software.
