Multiport USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 Hub AXAGON HMC-5 extends your laptop, computer, or phone with four ports and an SD/microSD card reader. Via the double-sided USB-C connector, you can easily and quickly connect up to two USB devices, card readers, and an HDMI display to your computer simultaneously. You also get the option to power your laptop simultaneously with Power Delivery technology. With the USB-C hub, you get a simple and compact 5-in-1 laptop docking station like the MacBook Pro.
The USB hub offers a total of two USB outputs with standard USB-A connectors. The hub can handle the permanent connection of multiple external drives simultaneously. Thanks to the fast USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, the transfer speed is up to 5Gb/s. The hub also charges phones and tablets with a current of up to 1.5A/5V. This allows the hub to easily charge an Android smartphone, Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, etc.
The USB-C port is intended for powering a laptop or mobile phone with Power Delivery 3.0 technology, with a power output of up to 100W. Connect the USB-C Power Delivery charger to the hub and connect the hub to the laptop. This saves one USB-C port. A prerequisite is a laptop with Power Delivery charging support via the USB-C port and a suitable PD charger.
The HDMI output provides high image quality with an Ultra HD resolution of up to 4K/30Hz and supports multi-channel audio transmission. Popular gaming resolutions WQHD 2560 x 1440px at 60Hz or FullHD 1920 x 1080px at 60, 100, and max. 120Hz are also supported. For proper video output function, a DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) enabled USB-C port or Thunderbolt 3 port is required.
The card reader supports all current versions of SD and microSD cards, including SDXC and microSDXC, with a capacity of up to 2TB. High data transfer speed is ensured by the USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface. The card reader allows simultaneous handling of cards in both slots and direct copying between them.
The elegant aluminum housing ensures mechanical resistance and high-quality cooling. The finely textured surface, free of fingerprints, will also delight you.
The hub is an ideal accessory for laptops without USB-A ports, card readers, and video output. You can use your existing USB peripherals without having to buy new ones. Thanks to the Plug-and-Play and Hot-Plug features, connecting the hub is very easy, even without complicated installation. It is also possible to easily connect and disconnect peripherals while the computer is running. The hub is not afraid to connect to phones with a USB-C port - for example, you can connect a flash drive, keyboard, mouse, screen, TV, or projector to the phone.

What are the shipping costs and how long does delivery take?
Standard shipping CHF 8.90 (B-Post, 3–5 business days) or Express CHF 23.50 (Swiss-Express "Mond", 1–2 business days) – Delivery by Swiss Post, within Switzerland only. In-stock products are usually processed within one business day; out-of-stock components are procured within 2–3 business days. Pick-up in Winterthur is free of charge.
Can I also pick up my order?
Yes – free of charge at Sulzerallee 80, 8404 Winterthur, during our opening hours. Please wait for our pick-up confirmation before coming by.
How long is my warranty?
You receive a 3-year warranty on all products purchased from us, starting from the date of delivery. For repair work carried out by us and newly installed spare parts, we provide a 2-year warranty. Report any warranty claims to info@pixelgipfel.ch before returning the item and wait for RMA confirmation.
Can I return a product?
Yes – as a private customer with a delivery address in Switzerland, you have a voluntary right of return for 14 days from receipt: 100% for unopened items, 90% for opened but unused items, and under 85% refund for used items. Excluded are custom builds, personalized products, activated software and license keys, as well as opened products that come into contact with the body (e.g., headphones, headsets, VR glasses). Please register your return in advance at info@pixelgipfel.ch – the refund will be processed within 10 business days after inspection.
What payment methods do you accept?
TWINT, common credit and debit cards, and purchase on account with partial payment option via our partner Heylight. All prices include 8.1% VAT; shipping costs will be displayed in the checkout before the order is completed.
How long does it take to assemble my custom PC?
Once all components are available, assembly, configuration, and functional testing usually take 1–2 business days. If parts are not in stock, an additional 2–3 business days for procurement will apply; for pre-orders or special procurements, it can take up to 30 days – we will inform you of any delays.
Can I cancel my order?
You can usually cancel standard products that have not yet been shipped free of charge – please contact us at info@pixelgipfel.ch. For custom builds and specially ordered products, cancellations depend on the processing status; compensation of up to 20% may be charged for work already carried out and components already ordered.
