Product information

The LevelOne WAC-2013 is a Gigabit WLAN controller designed for use in medium-sized and larger networks in SMEs, schools, guesthouses, hotels, and apartments. The central management of up to 256 APs provides complete wireless security and service solutions for any medium and large wireless network.

The WAC-2013 integrates a variety of functions that allow the administrator to easily set up AP configurations, including tag-based VLAN settings. Furthermore, AP firmware can be updated, and the AP status as well as the number of connected APs and users can be monitored.

The WAC-2013 controller is also an Internet gateway with a robust firewall for protection against intruders, featuring up to 4 WAN and 4 LAN ports at Gigabit speed, enabling fast and reliable data distribution in the network.

The LevelOne WAC-2013 also supports real-time control of signal strength and interference information. Based on these results, the WAC-2013 automatically regulates the traffic load, output power, RF coverage, and channel distribution of the APs to optimize radio coverage and data throughput.
