Product information

All-in-One PC for POS, POI, and Kiosk Applications
The Shuttle XPC all-in-one X50V7U3 is the new model in Shuttle's successful X50 series, equipped with an Intel Core i3-8145U processor. The modern Whiskey Lake-U processor architecture has a very positive effect on power consumption and computing performance. Thanks to completely passive cooling, the system is practically silent, maintenance-free, and suitable for 24/7 continuous operation. Useful for vertical market applications is the arrangement of most connections on the bottom of the chassis and the front's resistance to dust and splash water according to IP54 protection class.

Fanless and Whisper-Quiet
The absence of any fans makes this PC particularly quiet. By eliminating these mechanical components, the number of wear parts has also been reduced, making the device more durable and fail-safe.

Low Power Consumption
Frugality is a virtue. In terms of power consumption, this mini-PC shows its exemplary side. This is not only good for the environment but also for your wallet.

Resistive Touchscreen
The resistive touchscreen allows operation even without skin contact, meaning with gloves or a stylus, for example, making it particularly suitable for demanding environments.

Rapid System and Program Startup Thanks to NVMe Support
Compared to hard drives, SSDs are already very fast. But what M.2 modules with PCIe Express technology make possible is breathtaking. These so-called NVMe modules move several gigabytes per second, ensuring a system startup in seconds and noticeably shortening program startup times.

Suitable for Continuous Operation
Working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Thanks to the absence of moving parts, such as a fan, this mini-PC is approved for permanent operation. This promises less maintenance and a longer lifespan.

Multi-Format Card Reader
Finally, no more constantly searching for your digital camera's data cable. Simply insert the memory card, and you'll have access to all your stored photos and videos.

Use of Mobile Technology
Many components from mobile devices are used in this mini-PC. You will first notice this in the low noise level of this PC. The energy-saving technologies of the components used generate very little heat, eliminating the need for additional fans. The energy saved will also be reflected in your electricity bill in the medium to long term.

Theft Protection
Kensington Lock security serves as theft protection. Like many notebooks, this mini-PC can be reliably secured. So you can enjoy your Shuttle product for a long time.

Built-in Stereo Speakers
Two powerful speakers are elegantly integrated into the design here and deliver astonishingly good sound. If more power is needed, external speakers can also be connected via a jack plug.

Suitable for Linux Operating Systems
This model has been successfully tested with openSUSE Linux from Novell. All device functions work perfectly immediately after installation.

Connections Without Annoying Cables
Data is transmitted completely wirelessly via WLAN. Near an access point/hotspot, you can easily access the Internet or use resources (such as printers) on the local network.

Well Positioned
Folded up 180 degrees, the chrome-plated and non-slip stand serves as a handy carrying handle. A clever solution from Shuttle's engineers.

Touchscreen: Operation by Touch
Revolutionary: this mini-PC can also be operated without a mouse and keyboard via touchscreen. A touch of the screen with a finger or stylus replaces the mouse. With a virtual keyboard, inputs can even be made on the screen.

Secure Hold
The practical VESA mounting surface on the back of the device allows it to be attached to monitor arms and wall mounts. The VESA format is standardized and therefore suitable for most mounts.

Integrated Webcam
Make a video call or participate in a video conference without hurdles - the built-in webcam makes it possible. Its megapixel image quality is impressive.

Fanless External Power Supply
A powerful, external power supply provides the Shuttle mini-PC with energy. It operates completely fanless and silently.

Communication at Highway Speed
The integrated Gigabit network chipset opens up completely new communication possibilities with data transfers without a speed limit. Whether in the company network or with home internet access - goodbye bottleneck!

Always-On Jumper
This device has a hardware solution to keep the device permanently switched on (e.g., after a power failure). If you remove the jumper documented in the manual, the PC starts as soon as power is supplied.

The Currently Fastest Connection for External Peripherals
The USB 3.0 interfaces of this model allow transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbit/s (625 MB/s). This allows external extensions, such as USB hard drives, to be connected at almost the same speed as their internal counterparts. USB 3.0 remains backward compatible - devices from earlier USB generations can also be used.

Only 2.5" HDDs
An extremely compact PC case offers less space for drives, so this mini-PC uses slim 2.5-inch hard drives. Advantage: lower operating noise, less heat generation, and reduced power consumption. However, small hard drives in a small case do not necessarily mean less storage space. Modern 2.5" HDDs are in no way inferior to their large 3.5-inch brothers.

Choose SSD
A power-saving "Solid State Drive" can be used here. This drive technology promises extremely short access times, highest data transfer rates, and significantly reduced power consumption compared to conventional hard drives. SSDs have no mechanical components, therefore wear less and thus have a longer lifespan.

HDMI Interface
Goodbye cable clutter! Modern flat-screen TVs and large TFT monitors can be connected to this mini-PC with just one thin cable. Often, the sound is also transmitted in brilliant quality via the HDMI cable.

Intel Chipset Inside
Rely on the reliable chipsets from the world's largest chip manufacturer. Intel chipsets have proven themselves over years, have been awarded by the trade press, and offer the greatest possible compatibility.

The Interface for the Fastest Storage Media
Internal drives in this mini-PC can transfer data at up to 6 Gbit/s. Hard drives thus work significantly faster, and brand new SSDs can fully utilize their performance. Choose SATA 6 Gbit/s now.
